Uganda: Rukungiri – Give thanks for the Link Parishes and individuals, in Ireland, who prayerfully and financially support the work in Rukungiri. Evas, the Children’s Project manager, said recently: “When money comes through from Link Parishes, from many people who have not seen the orphaned or disabled children or even have never been to Rukungiri…then tears are coming, if you can imagine what this means to us. We are thanking God for His mighty hand on us all.”

Kenya: Diocese of Kajiado – Pray for those parts of the diocese (on the Loitokitok side) facing a severe drought situation. The failure of the rains in October/November has put people in a critical situation and once again they turn to the Church for support. Pray that the Bishop and all in the Diocese may be able to make this response and give them the energy to see it through.

Kenya: Diocese of Kajiado – Pray for Bishop Jeremiah and all the staff in the Diocesan Office. The demands now being made on them have increased with so many people coming to the Church for support after the violence. Wisdom and sensitivity is needed when dealing with people – especially when there is still tension amongst various communities.
